HTC One S merupakan ponsel Android ultra tipis dengan ketebalan 7,9mm ditenagai oleh prosesor Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dualcore 1,5GHz. Menggunakan Android 4.0 ICS, ponsel ini juga sudah menggunakan Sense 4.0 di layar beresolusi qHD 960x540 piksel dengan lebar 4.3 inci. Kamera 8 megapiksel dengan tambahan video HD. Storage internalnya sendiri 16GB, dan pengguna ponsel ini mendapatkan cloud storage gratis sebesar 25Gb untuk 2 tahun. HTC mengklaim bodi ponsel ini menggunakan aluminium dengan sentuhan Multi-arc oxidation, proses yang sama dengan finishing bodi satelit.
